Junior Software Quality Assurance Analyst

The Quality Assurance Analyst ensures a high quality of client service by focusing on the testing of rules and software updates.

Basic Functions:
Software Testing: Assumes responsibility for testing fixes and new versions of internal software.
Assist in testing internal software applications
Assist in testing Software Problem Requests (SPR) as needed.
Maintain super-user knowledge of automated testing applications
Develop and maintain testing scripts used in regular and as-needed testing of applications.
Rule Testing: Assumes responsibility for testing rules as they are developed and maintained over time.
Test “Implement Temp Rule” Requests through the RMR System. Identify conflicts, duplications, unexpected and inappropriate outcomes in new library rules.
Test “Change Rule” Requests
through the RMR System. Identify conflicts, duplications, unexpected and inappropriate outcomes in logical changes to rules.
Create and troubleshoot test scenarios.
Use the Business Rule Assessment Tool (BRAT) and File Manager.
Release Testing
Coordinate monthly release testing for the QA Department.
Compare the pre- and post-test client files. Identify anomalies, research, and effect necessary corrections.
Review client production file on the day following the Monthly Release. Identify anomalies, research, and effect necessary corrections.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in CIS or MIS
Experience with SQL Programming
Knowledge of web-based testing and data warehouse environments would be a plus.
