Candidate will be responsible for developing software to verify complex, high speed FPGA and printed circuit board designs for communications and networking equipment. Ideal candidate would have strong test and software engineering background with an understanding of hardware and Verilog/VHDL.
Candidate will work closely with hardware designers to generate test software requirements. Candidate will fully document design details and hold a design review prior to implementation. Candidate will implement the approved design using C/C++. The candidate will integrate the design with the target hardware and support hardware designers during hardware unit test and integration.
Requirements:8+ years experience developing test software for networking or other data communications equipment. Software test case development in C/C++. Experience with Linux drivers and PowerPC and ARM processors preferred. Strong lab test and debug skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Bachelor’s degree required. US Citizenship required. Active security clearance a plus. Up to 10% travel required.
