Director of Operations Standard and Compliance
Overview:
Federated Logistics and Operations a division of Federated Department Stores, Inc. (Macy's and Bloomingdales) has a great opportunity for a Director of Operations Standards and Compliance, in their Portland, TN Direct to Consumer Distribution Center.
Key Accountabilities:Responsible for the management of Inventory Control operations including but not limited to; physical inventory planning, CEB/WMS balancing, cycle counting, and product moves. Very strong emphasis on leading initiatives to maintain the highest levels of stock accuracy, control processes, and reporting standards.
Lead a quality-assurance team across all departments and processes to ensure the highest levels of quality standards are maintained. This must include leading quality-improvement programs, quality training, and detailed reporting.
Oversee all aspects of the Cheshire Control Office, ARO, and CEB Offices in support of company profit objectives and customer service goals.
Responsible for the management of ARO operations including but not limited to; scheduling of all incoming dock appointments, preparing manifest problems and keyrecs, coordination of MIO issues, major detail error reporting, carrier claims, ARQ/POQ resolution.
Responsible for the management of Control Office operations including but not limited to; returns and queue processing, RTV processing, NIL clerical processing, and FTC compliance.
Monitors FTC compliance and standards for D2C, through reporting, communication and training
Maintain Bloomingdale's by Mail, Macys.com, Blcom., BLEOF, Macys Wedding Channel, BLWC FTC compliance, and DDW reporting for legal compliance review.
Maintains relationship of customer service through FACS, FTO, Vendor community, and D2C operations to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Maintain, update, train, and implement customer service procedures to support the Cheshire and West Johnson Operations.
Responsible for the management of Vendor Compliance and Standards operations including but not limited to staff communications, staff balancing and work assignments, work scheduling and processing, throughput levels, and processing standards.
Responsible for the development and management of all departmental budgets.
Responsible for ensuring that departments meet or exceed performance requirements in the areas of FTC compliance, safety, shortage, cost control, quality, processing standards, flexibility, reliability, customer service and execution to plan.
Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Work with other Distribution Center Managers to reduce damage and wrong item shipped issues. Identify problem items and develop solutions.
Develop, maintain and monitor all accuracy, service and quality programs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Develop and monitor training programs and ensure staff understanding of programs.
Manage and develop direct reports toward individual growth and performance excellence.
Ensure consistent, thorough timely communication to subordinates, peers and senior management.
Write and conduct performance appraisals for staff.
Provide a safe work environment for staff. Develop and enforce safe work practices.
Responsible for the management of all fulfillment operations FEDFIL / Cheshire queues.
Interface with FSG as primary user on systems development and refinement to improve operations, productivity and service levels.
Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required.
