Director, Global Trade Compliance Strategy

This position is critical for a high-tech company like TI because it proactively enables the company's free movement of products and services to customers around the globe.
In this role, you'll be responsible for TI's global trade compliance strategy and trade facilitation efforts. Specific responsibilities include:
Direct and coordinate TI's key trade facilitation efforts
Influence US and foreign trade compliance and import/export processes and policies
Facilitate resolution of legislative and industry issues related to trade compliance
Have involvement with C-Tpat , FCPA and anti-boycott programs
Be involved and secure peer support through industry associations
USG licenses and classifications strategies
Global trade compliance training and awareness process
Trade compliance global audit process
Company-wide trade compliance risk assessment strategy
This person will serve as a member of joint government / industry committees (i.e. regulations and procedures committees), as well as various industry associations. This function is also part of TI's Trade Compliance Steering Team, which is a team made up of all key global trade compliance managers.This position is a direct hire for our client: Texas Instruments.
