Demand Chain Analyst

Division: Sanford Job Description: The primary role of this position is to manage the outbound supply chain for Sanford’s top accounts. This individual will act as the supply chain liaison between the customer, operations and other parts of the business. Additionally, this role is Sanford’s primary customer service driver and must ensure superior service and flawless execution of order fulfillment throughout the entire ROO-ROG process (Receipt of Order-Receipt of Goods). The person filling this role is required to work closely with all areas of the business including marketing, sales, forecasting, production, finance, and distribution. They will be considered a customer expert and provide guidance to the company on their customer’s needs. They must ensure Sanford’s customer requirements are fully met, while working with Sanford procurement and materials groups. For specific accounts, this position is also responsible for VMI analysis and customer systems certification.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field, or general Bachelor’s Degree with relevant business experience required. Work Experience Requirements

2 years high level customer service experience.
Should be familiar with logistics, forecasting and production planning concepts. Skill Set Requirements Soft skills
Must possess strong organizational, leadership and problem solving skills.
Should be adept at multi-tasking and be self motivated with a commitment to resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
Must be self confident with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make recommendations to and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
Must be able to handle pressure and manage conflict. Technical Skills
Strong Microsoft Office, especially Excel, skills a must, MS Access experience is a plus.
SAP experience is a plus.
Professional Certification (CLP, APICS, etc) is preferred.
