Data Quality Controls Specialist

This position is highly matrixed and includes data related risk and internal controls responsibility across all Global Process Transformation Implementation streams. The incumbent will work closely with the business data leads in DQM and with the stream leads and sub-stream leads to develop data control standards and implement those controls. When analysis is required to address specific control functions or ad hoc internal audit needs, the Risk and Controls Data Specialist will provide the necessary coordination and in some cases, may actually perform the analysis by applying their knowledge of SAP transactions and queries.
The Risk and Controls Data Specialist will participate in the data conversion process and support data validation to ensure that the appropriate control points have been addressed during the conversion process and that validation accurately reflects requirements for data quality. The incumbent will maintain a documented record of these activities. In this capacity the incumbent will serve as a liaison with internal audit for the data controls compliance monitoring process.
REQUIREMENTS
oBS Degree in business, computer science, Accounting, or related business degree with an MIS emphasis.oPrior internal controls and audit experience (financial audit, IT audit, or internal controls), and knowledge of computerized testing techniques.oExperience with data manipulation tools/technologies and relational database concepts.oExperience in the design and deployment of an integrated business systemoSpecific knowledge of SAP transactions required to view data at a table level and assemble reports as applicable.Rockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
