DIRECTOR, QUALITY MANAGEMENTWestern Medical Center Anaheim, a community based 188-bed acute care facility, has been serving the City of Anaheim and its surrounding communities since 1975. More than 300 physicians practice at the hospital, along with over 500 professional, technical, and administrative personnel who provide care to newborns, adults, and seniors.
We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Director to direct our Quality Management process. In this position, you will be responsible for the coordination, development and evaluation of all outcome activities including but not limited to: Core Measures Initiative, Patient Satisfaction Measurement System, Risk Management, Performance Improvement and all accreditation related activities. Responsibilities also include the communication of results, participation in the development of strategies for improvement and the supervision of QM staff.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related or business major, 2 years of recent experience in performance improvement/quality management and risk management in acute care facility; 2 years management experience in Quality Management preferred. Good working knowledge of JCAHO, DHS and other regulatory requirements. Excellent interpersonal, teaching and communications skills – verbal & written.
