Compliance Coordinator

Compliance CoordinatorResponsible for managing the compliance function of Leasing World Headquarters (LWH), which includes TCF Equipment Finance and Winthrop Resources Corporation. Scheduling compliance reporting, creation and maintenance of compliance policy and procedures, managing scheduled compliance activities and projects as well as coordinating periodic activities with internal and external examiners. Acts as a liaison between Leasing World Headquarters (LWH) and TCF Bank. In addition to Compliance, this position is responsible for assisting the V.P. of Credit Administration with credit scoring activities, Loan Review and Credit Policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education:
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred:
B.A. degree in Business or FinanceWORK EXPERIENCE
Required:
3-5 years of compliance monitoring and reporting experience.
Strong analytical background.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Solid interpersonal skills necessary to interact with bank employees, management and regulatory examiners.
Organizational skill needed to handle work in an efficient manner.
Excellent project management skills.
High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet principal accountabilities with limited direction and oversight.
Strong computer software skills, including Microsoft Office and Access.
Requires flexibility for limited travel (approximately 5%-10%).Preferred:
At least six years of compliance monitoring and reporting experience.
At least three years of small business/consumer lending credit scoring experience.
Knowledge of banking, the internal structure of a bank, elements of bank operations and services.
Understanding of consumer protection and public interest laws and regulation, state and Federal business statutes and regulations. Bank supervisory compliance examination procedures.
Equipment Finance company experience.
