Compliance Analyst

Overview: The Compliance Department of Baker Hughes Incorporated has an immediate opening for a Compliance Analyst at its 3900 Essex Lane facility loacted in Houston, Texas. Perform internal control testing and documentation in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. Perform periodic review of the Control Self Assessment Questionnaire with finance staffs worldwide. Assist in issue management of findings and resolve to conclusion with process owners. Assist in training personnel on SOX and internal controls. Collects the response on the representation letter and identifies problem issues for review. Interact with external auditors as required ensuring proper flow of information. Work with divisions to provide detail guidance on standards. Assist the compliance core team in planning, ongoing guidance, review and evaluation of the results of the SOX process. REQUIREMENTS
Basic knowledge of internal control, auditing and 404 compliance procedures, including planning, techniques, tests and sampling methods. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills and ability to work either in a team environment or with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
