CHAMPS and Recognition Specialist - Alabama

The job will be positioned to support the Alabama market and the candidate ideally would be based out of Birmingham or Montgomery.



The cost of relocation from other areas will NOT be covered by YUM! Brands nor Pizza Hut so, if you are posting from another market area, please note that relocation costs will not be covered.



The CHAMPS and Recognition Specialist will evaluate Pizza Hut restaurants, using the automated CER tool consistently, accurately, and within specified timelines. The Specialist will provide detailed coaching and recognition that will improve the RGM's ability to run GREAT restaurants and deliver Customer Mania on an ongoing basis.



Perform appropriate number of CER evaluations within proper timelines (semi-annual and then based upon performance).



Use EARS Method to troubleshoot operational issues to identify root causes. Assist the management teams in correcting issues by coaching and supplying tools (where applicable) to fix the performance gaps.



Provide appropriate coaching and recognition to team members and management to build the "How We Work Together" (HWWT) culture.



Execute with positive energy and intensity coaching versus "auditing." Find reasons to celebrate the achievements of the team. Use the recognition tools to celebrate excelling performance.



Maintain strong knowledge of the business (new products, processes, and standards); have a passion for excellence.



Establish a strong working relationship with restaurant managers, franchisees and above restaurant leaders in the market, providing effective and ongoing communication. Practice "Team Together."



Collaborate with management staff to quickly resolve issues in "breakdown" situations. Provide additional follow-up coaching and support as needed.



Promote Customer Mania throughout the System. Build knowledge of all CHAMPS Initiatives (CHAMPS Checks, CER's, self-reviews, and 1-800) with all operators.



Provide feedback to the Brand CHAMPS Leader on ways to improve the system, always listening to the voice of the customer.


Participate in quarterly calibration to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations.



Provide ongoing support to region or Franchise teams to drive improvement in operations (training, restaurant visits, CER presentations and team/individual coaching).



Provide team support for new restaurant opening readiness checks.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have previous Pizza Hut Restaurant General Manager experience to be considered.
