Associate Scientist II - QC

Responsibilities: We have 2 positions open for candidates to work in an exciting Quality Control (QC) group! The Associate Scientist II position will focus on releasing and testing products, raw materials and finished goods using a variety of methods to include but not limited to HPLC, IR, and SDS-PAGE. This person will also be involved in training new Quality Control personnel on general and specific Quality Control processes, requirements and techniques. Responsibilities include: Inspect and release raw materials and finished products. Read and interpret data from vendors, which includes but is not limited to Certificates of Analysis. Perform basic Quality Control tests on materials as required (HPLC, IR, SDS-PAGE). Adhere to safety and housekeeping rules. Write and/or revise SOPs and work instructions. Assist in training other Quality Control personnel on general and specific QC processes, requirements and techniques. Perform all ERP software functions necessary to input labor and or material costs to products.
