Telecommunication Buyer

Experian, a global leader in providing information solutions to organizations and consumers, is seeking a highly motivated Telecommunication Buyer / Sourcing Representative to join our Global Sourcing Department.

We seek a candidate who will be responsible for leading procurement projects with the ability to interpret, amend, and negotiate favorable pricing and contract terms with suppliers. The ideal candidate will develop global sourcing strategies, create formal RFP packages (including analysis), validate offers against industry standards, and provide follow up and decision-making activities. Candidates should possess an understanding of, and have experience with, telecommunications networks, voice and data services, and wireless technology.
REQUIREMENTS
We would prefer a buyer with 5 years of related experience in the telecom or similar industry. Qualified candidates will have strong project management skills, the ability to work effectively in a complex organization, and strong computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, and multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must! Experience with an ERP system preferred.
