Develop and maintain supplier quality systems. Interface as liaison between engineering, sourcing and manufacturing organizations to ensure higher quality products or services are maintained. Requires travel > 30% to Asia, Europe and within North America.
REQUIREMENTS
BS in technical area (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) and 5+ years of direct external manufacturing based experience in semiconductor manufacturing area. Excellent presentation skills required, and experience reporting to executive management & engineering teams. The individual shall have the ability to use professional and technical concepts, and apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Required skills include knowledge of SPC techniques, DOE experiments, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Power Point, Word and Excel.ASQ CQM or CQE (Certified Quality Manager or Engineer) credentials are a plus.Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, presentation, facilitation and team leadership skills. Ability to make sound, quality decisions independently. Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, database systems and statistical programs. Experience in modern quality tools and management concepts such as statistical process control and analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action, and documentation software. Demonstrated leadership abilities including task or project management.
