Sr. Buyer

Purpose:
Our client is seeking a Sr. Buyer to join their team. This person will be responsible for the sourcing and buying of materials and services for the company.

On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for purchasing materials such as: cable, ladders, wires, welding supplies and fabricated items. This person will be spending 20% of their time traveling both internationally and domestically. Candidates must have experience negotiating contracts.

To be qualified for this position, individuals should have 5+ years experience as a buyer as well as the ability to read blueprints and engineering documents. An engineering, manufacturing or construction background is preferred.

Since this is an immediate opening, individuals will need to be able to personally interview within 24 hours and have 3 professional references available.
