Purchasing Manager

Fast-paced growing EMS provider has an immediate opening for a Purchaing Manager. REQUIREMENTS *5 years minimum experience in purchasing dealing with vendors and upper management. *2-4 years minimum in thge electronics industry *2-4 years minimum experience in a management/supervisory role *Familiar with Electronic Components and Electro-Mechanical Assemblies *Experience with Overseas Procurement a plus *Experience with and thorough knowledge of MRP system a must *Experience with Bill of Materials *Knowledge of Microsoft Products with intermediate skill level in Word and Excel *Excellent Organizational Skills *Excellent written and oracl communication skills RESPONSIBILITIES *Manager will be leading, motivating, and training a team of buyers who perform front-end purchasing *Will handle all aspects of sourcing and negotiating vendor contracts and establishing agreements *Source new and alternative vendors and suppliers; domestic and overseas *Manage procurement of materials and services at the lowest cost in the most efficent manner, based on MRP demands *Establish and monitor purchasing/procurement policies and procedures **Benefits include Medical, Dental, Life, 401(k), and more.
