Purchasing Agent

Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing purchasing activity for cost center/MRO purchases, as well as activities related to purchased finished products to support corporate purchasing program.
* Procures equipment, materials and services.
* Needs to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
* Involved with supplier selection, negotiations, contract administration, purchase execution.
REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
CPM preferred, SAP preferred
Effective negotiation, persuasion, communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry
