Logical Choice Technologies is a Georgia-based, certified woman-owned, small business that provides IT solutions, products and services exclusively to the public sector market. We are currently experiencing rapid growth in the national arena that is propelled by a new line of products based on the Promethean ActivBoard and Model Classroom solution. As a result we have a need for a highly experienced, motivated Purchasing Agent that thrives in a pressure-cooker environment.

The successful candidate must be experienced in the IT industry, be technology-savvy and be comfortable working with minimum supervision.

REQUIREMENTS
5-7 years experience with increasing responsibility
Responsibility for 250K SKUs
Worked as Purchasing Agent/Manager for a $50-100M company
Purchasing experience in the IT market
Provable experience with Inventory
Ability to manage Min/Max for over 1,000 items
Ability to establish and maintain positive vendor relationships
Coordinate purchasing with customer orders to maintain adequate levels of inventory
Determine quantity of purchases and plan for future requirements
Establish blanket purchase orders for quantity price breaks
Negotiate pricing with multiple vendors for best pricing, quality materials and service
Research and develop potential new suppliers for quality, delivery and pricing and negotiate terms and conditions of contract within budget constraints
Produce and follow-through purchase orders
Work closely with Warehouse and Manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of product.
Work closely with Service to maintain inventory levels in mobile warehouse units
Great Plains experience a plus
BA in business or associated field
