Purchaser

We are currently seeking a Purchaser who will be responsible for developing collections of apparel for our clients; Sourcing products and develop supplier contacts nationally and internationally; Work closely with account managers; Develop assortment in partnership with our design team incorporate product trends, historical data and field input; Formulate pricing strategies; Negotiate discounts when appropriate. Inventory control; Present assortment to clients for approval with the Key Account Manager; Identify business opportunities through analyzing sales performance and gathering marketplace and trend information; Maintain expert knowledge of industry through store visits and competitive analysis; Communicate with Design and Purchasing team; Source for best supplier and manufacturer.~cb~
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree with more than three years of buying experience of apparel; Ability to analyze trends and client demands; Excellent analytical and negotiating skills; Experience of embroidery and imprint business; Ability to do sketches for presentations; Superior communication skills; Self-starter with initiative.
