POSITION DESCRIPTION: As our Purchasing Manager, you will be charged with the direct management procurement activities. The product we manufactureis highly engineered and technical.This role has 5+ direct reprts with titles such as Buyer and these Buyers are located in multiple facilities.Buyers are more tactical in nature. You will oversee sourcing activities in several facilities. You will handle sourcing activities including srategic sourcing from low cost countries. You will do some travel in this position. You will report to a Vice President level individual.

QUALIFICATIONS: You must have a four-year degree and at least three years experience in a similar role for manufacturing. MBA a plus.You must have prior supervisory experience. To reiterate, product manufactured is highly engineered and technical.You must have some experience sourcing from low cost countries including travel overseas.
