Manager of Global Sourcing

The Manager of Global Sourcing is responsible for locating, qualifying, developing, and implementing domestic and international sourcing strategies for new and existing products worldwide.


Responsibilities include:

•Represent the materials group as a team member on all new product development projects; select and recommend suppliers for each project
•Manage existing and all new OEM suppliers. Responsible for negotiating prices, creating the OEM contracts and managing the overall relationships
•Assist Engineering in developing target COGS for use in negotiations
•Cost negotiations and comparative analysis.
•Coordinate with all support areas: QA, Inspection, Inventory, and Logistics
•Regular international travel required to identify both OEM/turnkey and component suppliers whose culture, size, and quality are an appropriate fit with QSC and may be of use in the future, as well as to manage existing sources of supply.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred; Experience in professional audio environment; Extensive global travel experience; Strong negotiation skills; Excellent communication skills
