Lead Buyer

Purpose:
We currently have a need for experienced purchasing agents to work at our client sites throughout the Portland metro area.

On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of various materials in a wide variety of industries. This individual will be responsible for issuing and negotiating orders, identifying key providers or manufacturers of relevant equipment. In addition, this person will act as a leader for new product procurement teams

Qualifications for these positions generally require a Bachelors degree in Business or a related field with 5+ years procurement and planning experience with working knowledge of quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment. Basic leadership and project management skills are required as well. Knowledge of Manman or other manufacturing based software system desired
