FOODSERVICE BUYER TRAINEE
Leading Independent Foodservice distributor seeks self-motivated individual for the position of Buyer Trainee. Successful candidate must possess excellent negotiating, organization, communication and time management skills. Responsibilities will include learning product mix and purchasing procedures while assisting purchasing staff in maximizing inventory turns and order fill-rates. Other duties will include analyzing new products, studying industry trends and assisting aggressive sales team in increasing customer base and profit margins. Applicants must have prior foodservice or restaurant experience and a college degree in a related field of study.
