Purpose: PURPOSE AND KEY RESULTS OF THE POSITION: This position is responsible for purchasing materials, planning production schedules and deploying product to meet customer service targets for the business units products at the plant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Construct daily and weekly schedules from sales forecasts, using the statistical "order up to" methodology to optimize production efficiencies while meeting Product Availability, Order Fill Rate and Inventory targets.
- Use Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) to purchase raw materials for production schedules and to dispose of substandard materials. Develop strong supplier relationships.
- Coordinate between processing, packaging and shipping operations to provide each distribution center with the right product in a timely manner and at the least possible cost.
