RBC Dain Rauscher is hiring an experienced go getter to work in our Corporate Purchasing Department. To be successful in the position the employee will work extensively with all areas of Corporate Services and U.S. Subsidiary partners to ensure the delivery of services to internal Dain Rauscher Clients and other U.S. Royal Bank of Canada Subsidiaries.
Within Corporate Services, the position interacts with Senior Buyers on initiatives and projects, as well as Operations and Vendor Management functions to ensure the delivery of services.This position provides internal client services, manages workflow related to order requests, issues purchase orders, monitors order status, processes invoices for the entire organization.This position is responsible for negotiating directly with established suppliers to acquire products and services requested by internal RBC Dain Clients and, if requested, for other RBC U.S. Subsidiaries to meet the business requirements of internal clients.This position interacts extensively with both internal clients and external suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate acquisition of requested products and services while applying organizational guidelines and negotiating and obtaining pricing proposals.This position works extensively with Accounts Payable to ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoice transactions ranging from individual invoices to consolidated summary invoice transactions.Monitors status of orders at the request of the internal client to ensure timely receipt by clients and communicates with supplier’s Accounts Receivable functions to verify payments.Key Words:
