Serigraph Inc., a global provider of high quality printed graphics and decorating solutions, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer in the automotive industry. Manage a variety of outside supplies and secure the best pricing and delivery time for a particular item or service. Responsible for qualifying the supplier resources and verifying the quality of product and services through various OEM standards. Maintain direct contact with internal and external personnel regarding requested pricing and time lines. Ensure that the Quality system is compliant with companies current standards.

Responsible for all quality improvement issues related to vendors and suppliers of materials, products or services used in development or manufacture; assesses potential new suppliers; works with suppliers to developer and improve entire supply chain.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Purchase outside services to fulfill the requirements of all OEM divisions.Attend trade shows relevant to the OEM industry to source component and service suppliers.Attend or belong to organizations that allow for interfacing with others to obtain current and future industry updates.Establish a supplier guideline to qualify a supplier’s process capabilities to ensure they meet Serigraph’s and customer expectations.Negotiate all pricing, program specifications, and call in for quote requests.Enter all purchase orders with pricing and items to have a hard copy Purchase Order created for vendor.Verification of all invoices through the Accounts Payable reconciliation process.Ability to work well in communications with a variety of different personnel both internally and externally throughout the OEM divisions.Ability to follow and comply with Corporate Purchasing rules.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years experience in purchasing for the automotive marketplace, along with Quality background preferred.
