Buyer -- Electrical Instrumentation and Hydraulics

US Sugar is seeking a buyer with extensive experience in Electrical Instrumentation and Hydraulics.

Primary Function:

Responsible for the complete material supply chain of assigned materials from supplier sources to delivery at the designated receiving site, meeting inventory targets and material quality specifications. Assists in the development and implementation of strategic procurement plans and develops the sourcing plans required. Analyzes costs and determines best total cost/value relationship related to the following: supplier, specification, quality, service, and logistics. Negotiates, purchases, manages supplier base for Hydraulics and other indirect materials. Designs and manages key projects/process changes to ensure cost effectiveness while maintaining quality and service objectives. Responsibilities:

• Purchase a variety of direct materials such as packing in a judious and ethical manner
• Optimize total cost of ownership/value, thereby contributing to corporate profitability.
• Demonstrate the ability to implement and execute purchasing techniques to include sourcing plans, systems contracts, e-commerce, tactical and strategical negotiations
