We are currently seeking a Buyer to join our Purchasing team in Southington, CT.

The scope of the position is to support our Product Managers with daily activities of procuring and maintaining inventory levels.

REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Obtaining quotes from mills and suppliers for standard items
Reviewing and adjusting the status of incoming purchases
Responding to questions regarding purchases
Assisting with negotiating prices and services
Resolving discrepancies of goods and services

The person we're looking for....

Identifying with our Company's culture is important, so in addition to possessing the technical requirements of the position, we are looking for an individual who is team-oriented and works effectively with associates at all levels throughout the organization.

Candidates must have a high school diploma. Two (2) years purchasing experience in raw materials preferred.
