Associate Buyer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Works with system to create purchase orders (Pos)Assists Operations department with creation and tracking on Pos, vendor contracts and follow-up tracking on PO commitments.Interfaces with the company’s Finance group as needed for confirmation of receipt and accounting for purchases.Assisting with the redefinition on our purchasing process
REQUIREMENTS
2 – 3 years experience as a Buyer or Assistant Buyer in manufacturing or retail operationsStrong organizational ability and skill in prioritizing multiple responsibilities.Strong customer service and communication skills in both oral and written communications.Ability to be flexible in terms of managing multiple priorities, and in working overtime as needed for special project work and important deadlines.Ability to be self directed and work with onsite as well as remote personnel.Educate, Inc. prides itself on teaching children and achieving measurable progress with a smile every day.
