Sales Training Copywriter

Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Training Copywriter.

The Sales Training Copywriter is responsible for developing, analyzing, and writing text for sales related training materials and sales support tools, ensuring all information presented is current, consistent, and meets established deadlines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

*Plans, writes and oversees most recent print and electronic text updates and brochures for company sales training related publications and sales support tools including Decorating Consultant business forms, agreements, Business Guides, Certified Trainer Training Guides, Leadership Guides, Certified Training School support materials, and on-line training resources and sales support tools.

*Participates in assessing training needs of external sales force and selecting topics for training flyers, documents and programs.

*Participates in assessing training needs of external sales force and selecting topics for training flyers, documents and programs.

*Participates in analysis of business processes and current applications to identify opportunities for improvement.

*Analyzes and edits prepared material and illustrations.

*Coordinates and liaises with related internal departments to ensure a cohesive and smooth production process for all sales training materials and sales support tools.

*Writes, edits and proofs sales training materials and sales support tools as necessary.

*Sets and maintains a deadline schedule to ensure projects are completed according to established timelines and complex schedules.

*Recommends and implements enhancements to copy and refreshes content to keep text and images relevant and current.

*Rewrites or modifies copy to clarify meaning and to conform to publication's and company's style ensuring a current, consistent sales training message is conveyed throughout all of Home Interiors' sales training materials and sales support tools.

*Proofreads and corrects material from printers or other sources and reviews quality of sales training final print or electronic product before release.

*Determines signage verbiage and getting trademark approvals.

*Analyze and manages training supply inventory to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.

*Ensures proper purchase orders are created and filled and accurate records are maintained.
REQUIREMENTS
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2 years of sales, marketing or training writing experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree with major course work in Journalism.
5 years of sales, marketing or training writing experience in direct sales.
