Thriving and dynamic global private equity investment company seeking Oracle Applications DBA for downtown Dallas office!*** PLEASE attach Word formatted copy of RESUME along with current salary ***
•Responsible for Databases
•Responsible for all Solaris servers
•Oracle & Unix security•Disaster-Recovery plan
•Plan and implement projects
•Various special projects
REQUIREMENTS
•Must have 3+ years experience with 11i Apps DBA on Solaris environment
•Must have 3-4 years experience as a DBA on Solaris environment•Must have Solaris Admin skills
•Must have shell scripting skills
•Must have setup and implement Backup and Recovery procedures using RMAN
•Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
•Must have Installation, upgrade, patching Oracle RDBMS software
•Must have Create, upgrade, and clone Oracle databases
•Must have Physical and Logical Tuning of database structures
•Experience with supporting multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
•Experience with Data Modeling and/or Application Development is a plus
•College degree - BS in Computer Science
•Oracle DBA certification preferred
