Occupational Therapist practice in the mountains of AZ
Payson Regional Medical Center (PRMC) includes 44 licensed beds and a 24-hour emergency and trauma center. PRMC is a full-service general acute care hospital. The hospital serves all of Northern Gila Country as an advanced life support base station and provides medical consultation by phone or radio to 12 medical providers in the Payson and surrounding area.
We have FT opening to work in both Hospital and Home Health Department. $10.00 per hour bonus for therapists who pick up shifts in either the SNF, or Hospital. Contact us for immediate consideration and/or our Recruitment DVD.
Our new Rehab Services Clinic opened late November 2003. Services include Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy. In 2003 the PT/Rehab. Clinic experienced a 20% increase in new referrals.
The Town of Payson is located in Arizona's famous Rim Country. The Rim is named after one of Arizona's two most dominant landforms, the Mogollon Rim (the other landform is the Grand Canyon) and rises to a height of 7,500 feet a few miles north of Payson. In addition to Payson at 5,000 feet, the Rim Country includes the progressively higher communities of Star Valley, Pine, Strawberry, and Christopher Creek. The area is a paradise for hikers, hunters, campers, mountain bikers and horseback riders.
The Town of Payson has a population of approximately 15,000 and Payson Regional Medical Center serves over 30,000 people in its service area. Payson offers what many people are looking for: a moderate, four-seasons climate, a rural setting with easy access to metropolitan areas (just over an hour's drive to Scottsdale and Phoenix), quality housing, recreational amenities, low crime, and employment opportunities. REQUIREMENTS
Must be eligible for registration in the state of Arizona. Must be willing to work in both inpatient/outpatient and home health.
