Within this role, you will assist primarily in the scrubbing role during the intraoperative phase of patient care and provide. technical support for all surgical specialties. Specialty services throughout this unit include Thoracic/Cardiovascular, Open Heart, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Solid Organ Transplant, General Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, and Gynecology. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of two years recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in operating room and demonstrated outstanding ability during an accredited Surgical Technologist training program. This position requires high school education, graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, BLS Healthcare Provider cert., AST certification preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and follow directions in English.Experience in Orthopedics and Opthalmology preferred.
