Java Security Architect

Purpose: Research, analyze and develop new technologies for client products in security areas such as information and device protection. Individual will act as a PM for technical analysis and evaluations in order to identify new security technologies as they relate to MFPs. Will guide environment user groups regarding things such as design changes, bugs and feature requests etc. Will also Identify security vulnerabilities and issues with network infrastructure, host configuration, application design and implementation, trusts, and accounts.

SKILLS REQUIRED- Individual who has worked heavily in the development side/ NOT looking for someone who is more done auditing and teaching side of the technology.

MS degree or equivalent and 7+ years software development/architecture experience using programming languages such as C, and C++. 3+ years in product development including Object Oriented design, data security API's, access control issues, and OS security issues. 2+ years in network protocols including; TCP/IP, SNMP, SMB, IPSec, HTTP, HTTPS is required. You must also have 2+ years in Linux/Unix and WinNT/2000/2003 security experience. Familiarity with network security such as evaluation/implementation and management of firewalls, intrusion detection, and PKI/digital certificates is desirable. Knowledge of cryptography and encryption/decryption algorithms such as 3DES, AES and Hashing is a plus. Knowledge and understanding of national and international security standards such as SOX, HIPAA, Common Criteria, and ISO 17799 is also a plus. Printer experience, MFP knowledge and experience, UML, and XML are also desired. Must be team oriented with excellent communication and writing skills. You must be capable of providing schedule assessments. Job commitment is a must.
