IT Security Manager

First Community Services is searching for a highly motivated & quality focused Information Security Professional with resource management experience.

Essential functions will include but are not limited to the following:

•Developing, maintaining, and directing implementation of IS security vision in support of the defined mission

•Instituting a manageable security architecture with soundly executed plans

•Creating and supporting Info Sec related policy & procedures that meet or exceed requirements for regulatory compliance

•Using management techniques that provide for high customer service levels

•Responsible for overseeing and facilitating Incident response plans

•Managing security infrastructure that’s based in capital & expense budgets

•Assisting in managing initiatives consistent with corporate directives and IS planning strategies.

•Leading risk assessment efforts and managing formal process development

•Assisting in the creation of training programs based on security principles.
REQUIREMENTS
Position specific Requirements / Qualifications:

•The potential candidate will have a college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field with 5+ years demonstrated progression in IT with 3+ years in a Information Security related role, as well as some management experience

•Position requirements include experience with firewalls, encryption methodologies, certificates management, authentication types, & intrusion detection/prevention as well as virus prevention and detection.

•Additional experience with network operating systems should include Windows (server), Novell, Linux, & OS400 based platforms; Data Telecommunications; Database, consolidated data storage, and desktop support is essential.

•Other duties as assigned by senior management.
