Document Management - Technology Professional

As a Document Management - Technology Professional, you will be responsible for providing creative, thoughtful, and reasoned technology-based guidance to all DATAMAX clients located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Metroplex. You will be expected to deliver superior technology infrastructure management skills, as well as stay abreast of notable trends and advancements in technology.A successful Document Management - Technology Consultant will:
Exhibit good judgment when implementing and managing technology for clients
Work with Sales Professionals in order to support sales initiatives of high volume Canon Print Solutions
Make a professional impression with clients
Exhibit good people skills while on client site
Complete technical tasks efficiently and without errors
Complete internal documentation and other tasks quickly and accurately
Continue to earn technical certifications
Attend functions with clientele outside the office environment to further develop relationships

REQUIREMENTS
- MCSE Certification is required, CDIA, Novell and/or Cisco certification(s) are a plus- Must possess at least two (2) years business experience in a consulting capacity- Knowledge of and experience with high volume Canon solutions (hardware and software), high volume finishers, PrintShop Mail, Fiery, and ColorPASS RIPs- Experience with Document Management Systems Implementation (LaserFiche, Documentum/Legato, Canon ImageWARE, Kofax)- Experience with Output Management System Implementation (Formscape, Ojectif Lune, Planet Press)- HP Web JetAdmin and EquiTrax experience- Fax server experience with Castelle and Rightfax- Exposure to Microsoft Technology: SharePoint and InfoPath- Knowledge of and experience with variable data print solutions (Color and Black and White)- MS Exchange experience is required; Lotus Notes and Novell GroupWise experience is a plus- LAN/WAN management and troubleshooting experience is required- AS/400, RS/6000, and Linux experience is highly preferred- Database management concepts and experience is preferred (MS SQL Server)- Must be able to spend a great deal of time in the field with clients- Must work well with a diversity of personality types in various business and technical settings- Must be able to accommodate client attitudes and requests provided that they do not interfere with the timely completion of assigned projects- Must be able to provide guidance and leadership for junior members of the DATAMAX technical staff- Must possess a can do attitude and a commitment to being a team player
