Short: Survey says home-based workers make more

According to a recent survey of the AAHBB in partnership with Canon U.S.A., home-based professionals earn on average 28 percent more than the typical American worker, or $34,500 compared to $24,908. When asked what they missed least about working in an office, 26 percent said the daily commute, followed by an overbearing boss (21 percent), and set business hours (14 percent). When asked what they missed most, 26 percent said company benefits, closely followed by interaction with fellow workers (25 percent), and financial security (23 percent).
