Supervisory Pharmacist (Inpatient)

VA Loma Linda is recruiting for a Supervisory Inpatient Pharmacist. **Relocation Bonus is negotiable. The incumbent is responsible for providing comprehensive professional, administrative, and technical direction for operations involving Inpatient hospital pharmacy-related care matters. Supervises, evaluates the performance of and counsels inpatient pharmacy staff. Distributes manpower resources on a daily basis to provide adequate coverage. The incumbent will be responsible for developing concepts and innovations, which will aid this facility in implementing new and necessary inpatient programs such as: Unit Dose; total Automatic Replenishment of Drugs; Centralized intravenous (IV) additive programs; techniques of effective total Hospital Medication Support Systems; involvement in all Inpatient Pharmacy Services with the medical staff and affiliated university health profession schools; and expanded ranges of services to the VA patients and allied professional staff. Education (Copy of transcripts must be submitted for verification): Graduate of a degree program in pharmacy from an approved an American Counsel on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), or prior to the establishment of ACPE, have been a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). The degree program must have been approved Graduates of foreign pharmacy degree programs meet the educational requirement if their degree is found to be equivalent to degree programs recognized by the ACPE.
