Long Term Care - Staff Pharmacist - Specialty Pharmacy

Full Time -7 on / 7 off.
2 weeks off a MONTH!! NO CALL!

We are seeking a fulltime staff pharmacist for our client, a national company which specializes in serving the pharmaceutical needs of residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an excellent, pharmacist-centered company that believes in providing plenty of technician support to allow the pharmacists to do pharmacist's work. Looking for a top notch pharmacist interested in having 2 weeks off a month!

This schedule itself is appealing to those looking for a week off at a time! And get paid 80 hours for differential of 7-11/hour shifts.

Seven (11 hour) shifts: Monday - Sunday 11:30a – 11pm

There is no dealing with insurance and co-pays and no direct patient interaction. The major duties include checking prescriptions for accuracy and telephone interaction with staff at the facilities to answer questions as they relate to dosing, drug-drug interactions and drug-allergy interactions.

Pharmacists experienced in long term care, retail, infusion, mail order or hospital preferred - new grads welcome!

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree

Active CO license in good standing (or eligible to reciprocate)

Excellent communication skills.
