Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to manage our San Gabriel Valley, CA territory.

 

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives sell and educate healthcare professionals on our prescription products.  Customers include medical doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists and are located in private practice offices, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives include:
Developing relationships with healthcare professionals in an established territory.
Building customer understanding by direct sales contacts in an office setting, pharmacy, or clinic, providing product knowledge and technical support.
Territory management which includes selling at least 8 hours per day making a minimum of 8-10 customer calls.
Managing daily account activities via a territory database.
Developing Action Plans, analyzing data and utilizing business development funds to increase business and share.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Highly motivated individuals with at least two years outside sales experience (any field) and a record of success.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to interface with a wide variety of people, and a truly professional approach.
Prior Pharmaceutical or Medical sales experience is beneficial but not required.
A four-year college degree.
A valid US driver's license.
Candidates must live within 50 miles of this city - P&G DOES NOT pay for relocation.
