Primary Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed net sales revenue goals.
Identify and close large account opportunities
Grow and maintain a significant network of independent sales reps. Manage all aspects of employee development including recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising.
Expand relationships with key industry organizations, including trade associations.
Identify potential partners including distributors and GPO’s.
Provide daily/weekly sales management through effective sales
meetings/teleconferencing, one-on-one coaching sessions, training, team building exercises etc.
Monitor and manage a sales/expense budget.

For more than 15 years, DRx has been a trusted supplier of pre-packaged prescription medications, OTC products and related supplies to physician offices and clinics throughout the United States. DRx is a fully licensed, FDA registered facility and ships nationwide from its repackaging facility in Skokie, Illinois.
In 2000, DRx was acquired by Purkinje, a developer of diagnosis-driven prescribing software. Purkinje technology allows customers to streamline the dispensing process and automate inventory, reporting, and compliance functions, reducing overhead and improving profitability. With over 120 employees and offices in the US, Canada, and India, Purkinje continues to develop breakthrough solutions for clinical documentation, care management, electronic prescribing and medication dispensing.
Due to an increased demand and expansion, we are currently seeking experienced Regional Sales Managers for our DRx division. These candidates will report directly to the Director of Sales, who is based in St. Louis, MO.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree, Business preferred (emphasis in Sales Management or Marketing a plus)
Minimum of 5 years sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years sales management experience, management of independent reps a plus.
Must have experience in the pharmaceutical / medical industry and in selling to physicians.
Must possess the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of individuals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong business acumen; excellent quantitative ability, planning/organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
High degree of professionalism and diplomacy required.
Computer proficiency.
