Pharmacist Director

-Plans, organizes, supervises, and directs the operation of the Department of Pharmacy Services.
-Formulates policies and action plans to meet established goals and complexity of patient care needs.
-Manages operations, ensuring timely delivery of quality clinical services.
-Develops, implements and maintains departmental budget through cost effective use of supplies and effective fiscal management of operations.
-Implements and maintains efficient performance standards in accordance with Federal and State Rules and Regulation and the JCAHO Standards for the department.
-Works cooperatively as a team member to reach hospital-wide objectives.
-Manages human resources within department.
-Provides leadership in the Quality Improvement process.
-Actively participates in education activities/self-development to enhance professional growth.
-Ensures departmental safety practices are maintained.
-Ensures department projects positive, caring attitude towards co-workers within department, guests, medical staff, and other departments.

REQUIREMENTS
-Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a PharmD. Degree.
-Possess a valid California license to practice Pharmacy in the State of California.
-5 years of hospital pharmacy experience. 2 years administrative experience.
