Description:
Will work one day a week/10 hour shift (no weekend hours). Assists the On-site Pharmacist in various duties related to filling/dispensing of prescription medications and providing quality customer service. Reads and interprets prescription. Prepares prescriptions for dispensing pharmacists in accordance with quality, productivity, and regulatory standards of performance. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, performs support functions to include data entry, retrieval of drug product, filling of prescription, doctor phone calls, inventory management, and general pharmacy clerical duties. Orders and stocks OTC products. Provides excellent customer service and maintains a clean, safe work environment.Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Additional training and certification preferred.
Current pharmacy technician license.

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician.
