PHARMACIST

Pharmacists needed for Los Angeles medical facility. Full-time and part-time hours. Monday-Friday, day and evening shifts available. Long term contract position. Hourly pay DOE ranges from $50/hr. to $57/hr. $500 sign on bonus after completion of 240 hours.

Will provide professional pharmacy services in county medical facility. Will compound and dispense medications following prescriptions issued by doctors, dentists or other authorized medical practitioners. Will provide replenishment of drugs along with support and maintenance of pharmacy automation to ensure proper functioning and operations. Screens prescriptions and medication orders for completeness, proper authorization, dosage and quantity, therapeutic compatibility, drug interactions, allergies and clarifies possible problems with medical staff.

Software: Cerner Millennium Pharmacy; Auto Med Technology; FDS (fixed dos system); and EXP software. Client will provide 3 days of paid training before placement in department.

Previous experience in hospital, clinic or other health care setting.
Licensed to practice as a registered pharmacist by the California State Board of Pharmacy. Minimum one year of paid experience as a licensed pharmacist.
