Microbiologist I/II

Responsibilities: Kforce is currently recruiting for a Microbiologist I to work with a major Orange County pharmaceutical company. Principle responsibilities include: Perform routine Microbiology lab testing relating to Finished Product, Stability and Raw Material, such as Sterility test, Bacterial Endotoxin test, Particulate Matter test, Particle Sizing, Microbial Limits and Bioburden test. Support validation activities. Support media preparation by performing Growth Promotion. Perform and document the results of the bulk Bioburden test. Monitor the Microbiological quality of the water systems. Perform recertification of clean rooms and plant systems. Review equipment charts for specification compliance. Perform trending of the Water for Injection systems. Prepare and maintain stock cultures and identification of isolates.
