Overview:

The Territory Manager is responsible for effectively soliciting the sale of Kos Pharmaceuticals products, contributing to the District, Regional and National goals. This is accomplished by gaining a thorough knowledge of the products, displaying a high level of interpersonal and rapport-building skills, developing superior territory management and the proven ability to present significant and precise information in a manner designed to create a desire for the products. The Territory Manager also reports market intelligence by being alert to changes in the market and in customer reaction to products, prices, and service.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; RN degree on exception.
- 2 years experience in pharmaceutical sales required.
- 2 years of business-to-business sales experience or possesses prior cardiovascular and/or clinical experience in the pharmaceutical arena.
- Demonstrated sales ability with medical and product knowledge required.
- Must maintain a high degree of energy and self-motivation.
- Oral and written communication skills to include strong, enthusiastic presentation and closing skills.
- Proven organizational skills, time management and territory management skills.
- Ability to operate under minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales results.
- Demonstrates personal leadership in exhibiting a high level of teamwork amongst peers, home office and partners.
