Recruiting, selecting and developing a diverse team of fast, fun and friendly people.
Mentoring and developing Pharmacy Operations Leaders. Getting involved in each Pharmacy Operations Leader's development, actively guiding each Pharmacy Operations Leader's performance by providing consistent and honest feedback, coaching and recognition.
Working closely with Human Resources to recruit and select new Pharmacy talent from internal sources, external sources and college campuses.
Driving sales by directing and coaching Pharmacy Operations Leaders and store teams to use company programs, processes and tools to consistently manage inventory process and be in stock for our guests everyday.
Communicating group-wide Pharmacy and HBA merchandising trends and needs to the appropriate partner or headquarters team; escalating chronic issues to the appropriate headquarters team.
Soliciting feedback from guests on store visits ensuring Pharmacy teams are consistently delivering fast service and ClearRx message to each guest.
Visiting each area consistently, prioritizing visits based on need and utilizing unannounced, night and weekend visits.
Staying current with and monitoring group industry trends by building and maintaining relationships with appropriate Pharmacy trade organizations, government organizations and other leaders in the industry.
Monitoring group financial reports and making the necessary adjustments to meet financial goals and maintaining expenses; holding Pharmacy Operations Leaders accountable to do the same in each area.
Verifying that Pharmacy Operations Leaders are executing company programs and initiatives through regular statuses and market visits.
Working closely with the Pharmacy Operations Leaders in order to meet or exceed company Gross Margin goals with and emphasis on Generic Efficiency and payroll.Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
10-12 years of previous relevant management experience
Active state pharmacy license in good standing
Outstanding leadership and decision making skills
Proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
Strong influencing and delegation skills
Proven strategic, creative, innovative thinking and problem solving skills and ability to lead a team to execute and drive new ideas
Outstanding ability to listen well and ask difficult probing questions
Demonstrated leadership achievement
Excellent budgetary and business planning skills
