DIRECTOR PHARMACY- McDowell Hospital

The McDowell Hospital, Marion, NCExcellent opportunity for Pharmacist to lead the Pharmacy of a 65 bed not for profit hospital. Oversees the pharmacy to ensure that patients’ pharmaceutical needs are effectively met. Establishes policies, procedures, standards and objectives for the provision of services and coordinates with other departments to provide maximum level of services to patients and hospital staff.Staffed with 2 Pharmacists and 4 Pharmacy TechniciansSoftware: CPSI
Hours of Operations: 7am-5pm Monday-Friday and 7am-2pm Saturday and Sunday
Budget: $1.3 million.Director also provides staffing every 3rd weekend and at least 2 days per week depending upon scheduling needs. Participates various committees. Roates call with the pharmacy and Administrator on Call. Responsible for all policy and procedures and maintaining JCAHO readiness.Required Education: Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy - Pharm D or RPh
Required License: NC Board of Pharmacy License
