Performs identified data entry on cardiac services patients at Scripps Green Hospital. Reviews and validates data to ensure “clean” data. Performs periodic database harvests. Creates requested reports. Works collaboratively with Interventional Cardiology Clinical Trials Staff. Responsible for the performance of qualitative and quantitative analysis of coronary angiograms for the Scripps Drug-Eluting Stents in the Real World research program. The analysis will be accomplished using an automated computer system, the Medis QCA-CMS software package. Duties include recording results in case report forms, organizing and exporting study data to MS-Excel, MS-Access and MS-Word for statistical analysis and reporting purposes, and making copies of angiograms for review. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or greater, unless individual has experience as a registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS or registered Radiology Technologist ARRT. Knowledge of coronary anatomy and its appearance on coronary angiography required. Experience in performing quantitative coronary angiography. Evidence of adequate computer skills with data base maintenance, word processing, spread sheet experience required to include MS-Excel, MS-Access and MS-Word. Excellent interpersonal relationships; must be able to work independently, with high organizational skills and self management while meeting strict deadlines.Experience in angiography and in data entry required.
