Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Job Summary: Promotes rational drug therapy to physicians, optimize neonatal, pediatric and adult patient outcomes and minimize hospital costs whenever possible. Performs other duties as assigned.Job Specifications: Graduation from School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Board on Pharmaceutical education. PharmD. Degree preferred. Current California Pharmacist license. Two to three years of Clinical Pharmacy experience, including supervision of Interns and Technicians. Able to write legibly; assemble, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment and perform technical age-specific patient care activities as required; use computer and software programs necessary to the position. Able to communicate effectively, and professionally with others, be assertive and consistent in following policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure, collaborate with others; accept direction. Perform basic math functions essential to position.
