Chemists and Microbiologists

Our clients are currently looking for Chemists and Microbiologists to work in their Analytical and Quality Control Labs. In these positions, you will be responsible for quality control testing of food ingredients and pharmaceutical grade ingredients. In addition to standard chemical and microbiological testing, you will be responsible for making decisions with regards to batch production. You must be able to place batches on hold and determine batch adjustments based on test results. Responsibilities will also include detailed recordings of results into lab notebooks and databases. You will also be responsible for relaying batch adjustments for recording in Production Records.
REQUIREMENTS
These positions will require candidates to hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related Science. While the immediate needs are for entry-level candidates with 0-2yrs experience, experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with GMP a plus. Experience using LIMS or SAP computer systems would be beneficial. Undergraduate Research experience or industry experience using aseptic technique, microbial testing and identification, or HPLC will be a plus as well.
